Hu Zheng has a degree in Music from the Shanghai Teachers University and also a Licentiate Diploma in Conducting. He has conducted several choral groups in Shanghai and Singapore. Hu Zheng has led his chorals groups to perform in Malaysia. His choral groups have also won top medals in competitions.

Participants are taught appreciation of music to stimulate their aural sense. Musical instruments such as piano, portasound and percussion instruments may be used in the class.
