Course Description
Pilates Matwork is an exercise system performed on an exercise mat that focuses on improving flexibility, strength, and body awareness, without necessarily building bulk. The objective is a coordination of mind, body, and spirit, something Joseph Pilates called 'contrology.' It's an exercise routine that anyone young or old can do. Come develop a more flexible, toned and strong body. Not only will you look better, your posture will improve and you will feel better too!
Requirements and Remarks:
8 Sessions Trainer: Ms Yvonne Tan Sports gear and bring your own Yoga Mat. No classes on public holidays. This class is for beginners only. Pilates Mat Work is method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements. - Increases core strength - Improves balance and Stability - Improves posture - Tones the body yet gentle on the joints
