Marina has been teaching Pilates Matwork at both CCs and private studios for more than 10 years. She has completed her classical Pilates teacher's training for both equipment and matwork. In order to understand the body better, Marina has also further her study to become a certified masseur in holistic and sports massages. She teaches the classical version of matwork to build or enhance strength, flexibility, mobility, coordination and body awareness, aiming to have a healthier body and mind. Her focus is on precision and control to emphasize the importance of proper form and technique to achieve the intended result. Although participants will learn about all the exercises strictly following the series, they can be modified to suit special needs of some individuals.
