Sim Khien Leong has a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Rom the University of London and a ABRSM Grade 8 Certificate in Piano. He has been teaching Piano since 1995.

The syllabus follows those of established international music colleges, which have authorised local music schools to arrange examinations for participants. The examiners are from the following international music colleges: i) The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) ii) London College of Music (LCM) iii) Trinity College of Music (TCM) iv) Guildhall School of Music & Drama (GSMD)
