Course Description

Do you wonder what it would be like to make beautiful music when you
move your fingers along a piano keyboard? Now is your chance (with no knowledge of piano playing) to learn the fundamental techniques in piano playing. By the end of this fundamental course, students will have learnt to have a good sense of rhythm and musical expression, recognition and observation of musical terms, understanding of executing smoothly connected legato playing and will have the ability to play music from a grand score. Through the use flash cards and CDs in conjunction with books to strongly reinforce each musical principle, students will be able to build a foundation for further musical growth into Piano Grade 1.
