Poh Tin Cheng has a Masters in Education from NIE as well as a Diploma in Pre-School Education. She loves to teach children and constantly thinks of new and innovative methods to engage them. She also has an interest in teddy bear and soft toy making.

This course focuses on building the students' ability to recognise phonemes (sounds of alphabets) and the association of phonemes with words and phrases. Students will be taught the basics of phonics and they will be guided to read passages and stories.
