Course Description
The course objective is to equip K1/K2 students with essential skills in phonics and reading. The programme syllabus covers topics like sounds of letters, 3-letter phonetic words, consonant blends, phonograms and sight words. Students will learn that English words are strung together by sounds but there are some words which have to be read by sight, not by phonetic sounds. Students are given opportunities to read from words, sentences and passages.
