Mdm Soh has been teaching patchwork and quilting for 40 years. She represented Singapore in 1992 at the Handicraft Workshop for Asean Youth held in Thailand. She has also been invited to demonstrate her skills on TV programmes such as Good Morning Singapore, Woman's Magazine and Sweet Mummy. Patchwork and Quilting Exhibitions of more than 100 items were held at Bukit Timah CC in 2015 and 2017. These exhibitions by Mdm Soh and her students from Bukit Timah CC showcase items made with the patchwork technique, including blankets, bags, pouches, cushion covers, etc. Every design is unique and only one copy exists. Mdm Soh is a recipient of the PA Stars Trainer Awards 2017.

Patchwork and quilting require patience and good planning to put the cut-out fabrics together. Basic stitches and techniques are introduced to enable participants to make tissue box covers etc for use.
