Course Description
The multi ethnic percussion programme which focuses on the three main ethnic in Singapore (Chinese, Indian and Malay) and expose students to different cultures and cultural origins of the instruments. Students will be taught the differnet rhythmic and playing techniques of each instrument, and ends off with a performance to showcase the students newly learned skills.
Requirements and Remarks:
Participants: Will Learn all Global ethnic world percussion instruments, namely Chinese, Malay, Indian, Western, African, Brazilian, and Cajon percussions. All percussionists will be given an opportunity to perform in events. No musical grading required. All are welcome. Expect to Explore, Gain Exposure plus Experience and lots of opportunity for Performance! Instruments will be provided. Trainer - S Balasingam No lesson on August 9 (National Day)
