Course Description

Dance encompasses a large variety of dance genres and this programme allows children to explore new styles of dance and find the genre which best suits their style. This programme aims to allow parents to bond with their child while learning new skills sets from different dance genres at the same time. Participants will learn 4 different dance genres and learn about the music and basic movement of each unique genre. At the end of each session, participants would be able to perform a short dance choreography of each dance genre.


Week 1: Hip Hop and Jazz
Week 2: Ballet and Kids Zumba

A child's most important early relationships are with their parents. This parent-child ballet class would introduce children to the world of dance and allow parents to bond with their child through the participation of learning a new activity together. Children will be taught to be move with control, coordination and confidence through storytelling and imaginary movement sequence. Contents covered in class would include building blocks for every dance genre through the, posture of the body and musicality.

This is strictly a parent and child dance class. Every child must be accompanied with a parent. Participants to be in comfortable attire.

Requirements and Remarks:

Students will be notified if classes are postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. For further information, please contact the CC office at 67832900 between 10am and 6pm daily, the office is closed on public holidays. Payment is to be made before the class commences. Turn up the music and dance with your little ones! Join us for a fun-filled parent-child dance workshop this school holiday, where you will groove together, learn cool moves, and create lasting memories. No experience needed — just wear comfortable exercise wear, bring your energy and smiles! The workshop runs in two sessions on the same day with a lunch break from 12pm to 1pm, and is open to children aged 3 to 10. With a minimum of 3 pairs and a maximum of 10 pairs, spaces are limited. Sign up early! Don't miss out!
