Course Description

Miniature food clayart is an art of using clay to create food-realistic replicas that can then be turned into decorative ornaments or beauty accessories

In our workshop, learn about clay making and miniature project techniques and create both local and international food such as a traditional kopi tiam set or a Nyonya kueh platter to higher-end French pastries and a burger meal.

Requirements and Remarks:

1-day Workshop Aged Group: 12yrs and above Participants will learn basic clay crafting techniques to create adorable miniature Malay kuih-inspired keychains, featuring favourites such as onde-onde, kuih lapis and seri muka. Learning Outcomes By the end of the workshop, participants will: • Learn basic clay shaping and texturing techniques. • Create miniature Malay kuih-inspired clay charms. • Assemble and customise a finished keychain. • Gain confidence in expressing creativity through craft-making. Participants will complete 2–3 mini clay dessert charms and assemble them into a functional keychain suitable for personal use or gifting.
