Course Description
Computer coding and computational thinking are essential skills for the future which should be acquired from young. ICanCode Learn2Code Roblox is suitable for children aged 7-12 who are interested to learn computing in a creative environment. The course will draw upon their creativity and imagination while learning new programming concepts. These concepts will later be applied to the projects that they will develop. Roblox is developed under an object-oriented programming system utilizing the programming language Lua to manipulate the environment of the game. It is a game creation system that allows users to design their own games using Roblox Studio and play a wide variety of different games created by other users.
Requirements and Remarks:
Age: 7 years old to 12 years old Has your child always wanted to create an online game of their own? Let their creativity and imagination run free as they pick up the basics of Roblox! Through this hands-on course, participants will get to learn various aspects of this game creation system, such as coding functions, conditions and events, to programme their very own game.
