Course Description
This programme has received very good feedback from parents and students. It is developed by Mrs. Sarah Tan-Ng, who is educated in RGS, RJC and NUS and is a NIE and Montessori-trained ex-primary schoolteacher. This programme serves to equip children from 5 to 6 years old with basic skills in reading and writing in preparation for primary school education. The syllabus consists of 40 lessons and covers foundational topics in Primary 1 like Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary and Creative Writing. As every child is a unique individual, the lessons will be tailored to suit the needs and pace of the students so as to develop their potential in learning.
Requirements and Remarks:
* Lesson cancelled by the teacher due to unforeseen circumstances will be replaced. * The lesson missed by the student on his or her own accord will not be replaced nor the fee refundable. * There are no lessons scheduled on all Public Holidays (PH) and PH in lieu, Chinese New Year (CNY) period 16 Feb to 18 Feb, Term Break 4 Jun to 28 Jun, 18 Nov to 31 Dec. * One-off material fee of $40 will be paid directly to the trainer.
