Course Description
Judo is a beautiful yet a dynamic combat sport that demand both physical well-being and mental strength. Created by Professor Jigoro Kano in Japan, judo has evolved into a major Olympic Sport practiced by millions all over the world.
During training, children are to warm up the children by engaging them with Judo related games which consists of plenty of running, motor skills co-ordinations, etc.
Next, the emphasizing on break-fall is mandatory in every lesson, making sure all students are competent to fall safely. Students will also be taught to practice throwing techniques by repetitively executing of entries. Many games will be inserted in between practice to have a balance of fun and a good work-out. Students will have a folder which includes their progress report, their technique syllabus for grading, etc.
Requirements and Remarks:
1)This class is for 7 years old to 13 years old (from Primary 1 onwards) 2)Uniform (to be purchased from instructor) Adults -$100, Children -$60 3) Attire for beginners: PE attire (T-shirt and shorts/pants) 3)Please proceed to level 2 - Multi Purpose Room 2 - #02-05 for the class.
