Josephine Tan holds a First Grade Ikebana diploma from Sogetsu School of Ikebana and an overseas diploma in Floristry from Flower Design of Britain. 

She has been teaching Western and Japanese flower arrangements since 1994.

Ikebana, the Japanese style of flower arrangement, stresses the beauty of simplicity. Participants will learn not only the art of an arrangement, but also its meaning and symbolism in relation to nature.
