Course Description
Indian Dance is combination of techniques and movements from various dance styles originating from India. Classical dances of indian include Bharatanatyam and Kathak, which are rich in Indian culture and are taught over many years of intense training. The proposed Indian semi-classical dance aims to incorporate techniques from various style of indian dance, and the basics of classical dance to create a choreography for people to have fun while dancing and also appreciate the Indian dance culture
Requirements and Remarks:
Participants must wear cotton salwar kameez / uniform for all classes. 1. Classes will be conducted in Kalakshetra style. 2. Yearly examinations will be conducted and certificates will be issued. You may check with the trainer for this. 3. Fees for books on mudras and dance uniforms will be collected separately by the teacher if needed.
