Course Description
This program will expose participants to the world of robotics and coding. They will gain hands-on experience with building a robot, Lego Mindstorms and gain the foundation for more complicated projects.
Participants will engage in:
• Introduction to Block-based coding
• Introduction to Robotics and Simple machines
• Coding robot to complete challenges
Requirements and Remarks:
Children (7 to 12 years) Pairing: Participants will work in pairs during the session. What to Bring: • Your own laptop with at least one available USB port • Pre-install the required software from: https://education.lego.com/en-us/downloads/mindstorms-ev3/software/ Important: Please ensure your laptop has the software installed before attending the workshop.
