Course Description
What is Minecraft?
Minecraft: Education is a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problemsolving
in an immersive digital environment. It provides endless opportunities for exploration, storytelling and
digital learning.
Learning Outcomes
✔Introduction to Minecraft: Education
✔Block coding in Microsoft MakeCode
✔Learn algorithms, sequencing, loops and conditionals
✔Build Minecraft world with NPC spawn
Students learn through hands-on Minecraft project with instructor support.
Requirements and Remarks:
Level up your child's weekend with our fun and interactive coding classes! This class is suitable for students of all skills levels aged 7 to 12. Dates: July: 26 August: 2, 16, 23, 30 September: 6, 13, 20, 27 October: 4 • Participants are required to bring their own laptop, laptop charger and mouse (i.e. must be fully charged). • Tablet and chromebook are not allowed. • Participants will be required to install a programming software before the class.
