Course Description

This class consists of improving the students' essay writing and comprehension skills. Essay writing and comprehension lessons will be taught to the students on alternate weeks.

In essay writing classes, students are taught to brainstorm for ideas, with idioms, phrasal verbs and interesting vocabulary being taught to them in order to enhance their writing skills.

As for the comprehension sessions, students are taught to focus on the important parts of the passage, and they will learn how to make references and inferences, recognise contextual clues and to think critically.

At the end of the course, students will develop confidence in writing essays and tackling comprehension questions.
