Jayna is an experienced music educator who has been teaching in orchestras and music schools for over 6 years. Jayna holds a Performance Grade Dizi with merit issued by NAFA and Central Conservatory of Music Beijing as well as MOE AMIS instructor license since 2018. Jayna won the 1st place in the dizi senior category in the Singapore National Chinese Music Competition 2024. Jayna is well adapt in planning lessons for students of different ages and learning styles. Jayna hopes to inspire people from all walks of life, regardless of music background to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Chinese music and the dizi instrument.

Participants learn the skills of playing this instrument in a small group. They may have the opportunity to join an existing Chinese orchestra at a community centre or club when they have acquired sufficient skills and experience.
