Course Description

Good parenting starts with being good role models. Young kids are like sponges, they learn through observation and imitation. As parents, we are our children's first role model and greatest influence. Using the Chinese Classic Di Zi Gui as a basis, parents will learn how to be a good role model in cultivating good habits, right moral values and positive attitudes in their children. They will be taught ways to inculcate the importance of respect, filial piety, social etiquette and discipline in their child, to become a virtuous and upright person. While parents learn how to raise their child positively, they also gain better understanding of the cultural beliefs and philosophies that still hold dominion in the Chinese culture.
