Course Description

Gain better writing skills through exploring and critically reviewing various writing materials. Here, students will learn how to use mind maps to plan stories as well as how to use phrases and descriptive words effectively to enhance stories. Students will also be taught how to engage in idea exploration through the appropriate use of language and rich vocabulary, observing the sequential flow and style adopted by writers and learning the appropriate manner of blending sensorial descriptions to create a general impression or mood. The comprehension part will allow students to learn how to look for context clues, paraphrase, write coherent sentences and apply thinking skills for indirect questions. Course will be customised to suit different levels.
