Course Description
Tap on the power of art by joining us on our journey to explore fun acrylic painting. From the properties of paint to blending art techniques & brushwork, it is sure that you would have on hand a whole new painting experience and skill.
This 2hr workshop is suitable for all ages, tapping into your intrinsic creativity and integrate it with various drawing topics. Besides mixing and splashing colours, you will learn about:-
1) Basic Colour Theory
2) Contrast & Value
3) Composition
4) Creating texture with mediums
5) The use of palette knife (if applicable)
Requirements and Remarks:
Material Provided: 1)Canvas board (40 x 50 cm) – Individual canvas Shared material : - Acrylic paints - Modelling paste - Palette knife - Brushes and palette - Water container Material fee of $12 Payable to trainer directly Session 1 – Texture & Foundation - Introduction to palette knife painting and materials. - Demonstration of texture techniques using modelling paste. - Plan the floral composition. - Create textured flowers and background. Session 2 – Colour & Finishing - Apply acrylic colours using palette knife techniques. - Add depth, highlights, and fine details. - Complete and refine the artwork. - Presentation and sharing of finished paintings.
