Course Description
To many people, coffee could be just a cup of bitter & black drink. To some others who swear by it, it is something that they can't do without every morning. We hope that from this workshop, more people would discover the aroma and great taste of good coffee.
During this workshop, participants will receive tips on how to brew their own coffee. This workshop also share on the different types of coffee, different terms used in the coffee world, and tasting of coffee.
Requirements and Remarks:
The version of "Coffee Appreciation: From Bean to Brew" offered by Layman Coffee takes coffee appreciation one step further than the theory sharing and drip coffee tasting offered by others. Taking on an angle of "How to set up a home-cafe", we teach participants: • What makes Coffee unique: Coffee Species, Origins and how it differs from Nanyang Coffee • How to Buy Coffee Based on Aromas: Understanding 8 Different Coffee Aromas • Understanding Your Preferred Coffee Origin: Taste 3 Different Coffees from around the world • Latte ART JAMMING: Learn to brew espresso, froth milk & have a go at pouring Latte Art • All About Inclusivity: We also offer Matcha & Hot Chocolate (for non-coffee drinkers) and Oat Milk (for those with dietary preferences)
