Course Description

Established on the foundation of the 5,000 year old vast Chinese culture, Chinese Cultural Dance (Classical Dance) is one branch of the arts that uses the body as a performance medium.

The movement of Chinese Cultural Dance (Classical Dance) are rich in their ability to express a variety of feelings, personalities and stories.

Participants will be taught the basic dance movements and performing skills of Chinese Dance. The emphasis will be on:

1) Flexibility
2) Coordination
3) Balance
