Mdm Ho Wah Leng graduated from Baharuddin Vocational Institute in 1975 with a Diploma in Fabric Design and Silkscreen Work. She also underwent water colour and brush painting courses in the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in the 1980s, and underwent Chinese calligraphy training in the National University of Singapore (NUS) for 2 years. She is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphy Society of Singapore.

Mdm Ho has been working in the People’s Association as an Art instructor since 1975, and she had lots of experience teaching Art in various community clubs and schools. She also had 15 years of working experience in various companies as an Art designer.

She loves children and she is a very responsible and friendly instructor. She never fails to deliver her lessons well. She understands a child’s needs and she will always try her best to research on materials and teaching styles that suit them well. This has proven her to be a conscientious instructor who plans her lessons well.

Mdm Ho is definitely one instructor who is willing to serve the community with her art talents.

The course gives children not only an early start in the learning of colours, shapes and lines but also the opportunity to socialise with their peers and get their creative juices flowing. Besides drawing and colouring, they may also explore other art mediums and will be encouraged to talk about their daily life experiences to help them generate more ideas for their drawings.
