Course Description
Bored of normal Yoga? Chair Yoga is a modified form of Hatha Yoga movements and postures utilising the chair instead of a yoga mat. It is versatile and a natural stress-buster for all ages.
Requirements and Remarks:
Chairs to be provided by the organiser (yoga mats are not required). This Chair Yoga course teaches yoga poses, stretches, and yoga breathing techniques that are suitable to be practised while sitting on the chair; a yoga mat is not required. This course has the objectives of keeping the body balanced and active, while at the same time bringing about rejuvenation, inner peace and harmony that nourish both the body and mind. Proper techniques for practising the yoga poses, stretches, and yoga breathing techniques will be taught during the course. This course is suitable for persons who prefer the convenience of practising yoga on the chair to maintain physical and mental well-being, such as working adults who wish to manage stress and tension through Chair Yoga as a form of self-care, as well as seniors who wish to keep active through practising yoga on the chair. This course is suitable for beginners and adults of all age groups, including seniors.
