Course Description

Join us for an exciting parent-child cake-making adventure. Create delicious memories as you mix, measure, and decorate together. Perfect for budding chefs and curious kids, this hands-on experience promises giggles, learning, and a tasty treat to share. No baking skills required – just bring your enthusiasm and appetite for fun!

Date: 29 August 2026, Saturday Time: 11.30pm - 1.30pm Location: Toa Payoh West CC, Level 2 Culinary Studio Learn to make no-bake desserts without the use of oven, which is really kid-friendly. Cheesecake is a classic Western dessert, while chendol is a popular Asian dessert. This lesson will demonstrate how the flavours from these 2 desserts can blend harmoniously Course Content: 1. Make a cake base with digestive biscuits 2. Prepare the cheesecake filling from scratch 3. Assemble all elements of the cheesecake for the final product Parent and child work together to produce the cheesecake and will bring home 2 pieces of the final product. Each cheesecake measures 3-inch in diameter. Participants need to bring own apron, containers and carrier bags for completed products. Ingredient fee of $10 to be paid directly to trainer. Minimum of 5 parent-kid groups to start class.
