Course Description

The course enables participants to create a variety of breads, buns and rolls at home.

Requirements and Remarks:

Class is for 15yrs and above Menu: Cinnamon Bread Loaf with Apple Cake Roll This class explores a creative way to combine both bread and cake to produce a hybrid baked product. The final product is a cinnamon bread loaf encasing an apple cake roll. Participants will learn both the techniques of bread and cake making in one session. Course content: 1. Learn to knead and shape own bread loaf (hands-on) 2. Learn to make a genoise sponge (demo by trainer) 3. Learn to make a caramelised apple filling (demo by trainer) This is a semi hands-on class, suitable for those without baking experience, from 15 years old onwards. The class will last about 3 hours. Minimum of 5 participants to start class. Participants need to bring own apron, containers and carrier bags for completed products. Ingredient fee of $7 to be paid directly to trainer.
