Vanessa Chong started her Classical Ballet training at the age of six and has completed the RAD Vocational Advanced One examinations. She started assisting and teaching in 2015 and obtained the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance in 2017. She has also planned and choreographed for various Ballet showcase and concerts. Aside from Ballet, Vanessa has also participated in competitions and dance productions in street and contemporary dance genres during her University years, where she graduated with an Honours degree in Communication studies in Nanyang Technological University. To complement her teaching, she is also trained in the Progressive Ballet Technique by Marie Walton-Mahon.Vanessa is also a certified Pilates Instructor trained under the Pilates Academy International (PAI) and has been teaching Pilates Reformer and Mat group and private classes since 2016.

Participants who intend to become ballet dancers or teachers can proceed to join the Major syllabus.This is an advanced continuation of classical ballet from the Graded syllabus.
