Ms Yuan started training in classical ballet since the age of 6. She achieved straight distinctions for Pre Primary to Intermediate levels in the Royal Academy of Dance (UK) syllabus examinations. As a child dancer, she was chosen to perform with the Singapore Dance Theatre in 2 productions, taking on 2 different roles each time. She has taught ballet to children and adults alike since 2001 and holds a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance (UK). Having been exposed to pilates, jazz, hiphop, cheerleading and performing in small and big performances to audiences of more than 10,000, it is Ms Yuan’s hope to bring out the best in every student through strong technique and outstanding dance quality.

Participants aged above 12 who wish to take up ballet as a hobby can enrol for this course and learn more about the techniques of ballet, good posture and body co-ordination.
