Course Description
Generative AI has grown from a specialist tool into an accessible everyday assistant. This beginner-level course helps participants understand and use AI safely, confidently and independently for common daily activities. Participants will learn to give clear instructions to AI using voice or text and apply it to practical, real-life situations including communication, translation, information searches, travel planning and personal organisation. By the end of the course, participants will be able to use AI with greater confidence, understand basic privacy precautions and recognise unreliable information — building digital skills that support independence, connection and quality of life.
This course is suitable for participants with no prior knowledge of AI.
Requirements and Remarks:
For Handphone: 1. Account Readiness: Participants must know their own Google account username and password, and ensure the account is active. For Apple users, please have your Apple ID and App Store password ready. 2. App Installations: Please download and install the following apps on your phones prior to the class: ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, and Claude. 3. Data and Power: Participants should bring their own power bank and ensure they have an active mobile data plan. 4. Device Settings: Participants must have the necessary access rights to their device settings. This class will commence in Mandarin
