Joni started dancing at the age of 15. Despite a late start, her unyielding passion drove her to achieve full scores in both her RAD Grade 6 and 7 exams, and a high Distinction in her Grade 8 exams. Lastly, she attained Distinction in the Vocational RAD Advanced 1 exams in 2015. Joni's performing experience includes corps de ballet roles with the Singapore Dance Theatre in 2005 (The Nutcracker), and 2007 (Coppelia, The Nutcracker). Joni was an assistant ballet teacher in 2003, and thereafter attained her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies from Royal Academy of Dance in 2009. Professional Qualifications -RAD Advanced 1 (Distinction) -Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (RAD) -BA Psychology (NUS)

The focus shall be on basic body training and small-group dancing. Floor exercise shall take up 10 min to exercise the legs and waist. Bar exercise shall take up 10 min; to connect the squat, half-point toe and centre of gravity. The centre, arm posture, body and dance steps shall take up 40 min. Every 10 sessions shall complete a dance component.
