Hong Che Hwee is a certified 3G Abacus trainer who is presently teaching at more than four locations across the Singapore as a trainer for Edufarm Learning Centre and UE Learning Centre. He is an enthusiastic advocate of using the abacus to help young children better appreciate mathematics. This will be very beneficial for them in their later years of education. Affectionately known to his students as Teacher Hwee, Mr Hong helps his students grasp the joy of learning and many of them have gone on to do very well in school. He has attained Mental Degree Grade 3 and Abacus Degree Grade 4. In addition Mr Hong is a private tutor who has been teaching continuously since 2008. He specializes in Secondary Mathematics, both Elementary and Additional levels. He has a Bachelor in Engineering from NUS and a Masters in Applied Economics from NTU.

Learn about the basic 9 beads abacus. Highlights: * Gateway to abacus (structure of the abacus) * Correct posture of holding abacus and  pencil and clearing abacus * Learning the two sets of formulas (+10 formula and -10 formula) *  Fingering operation  * Basic mental calculation
